Double T-800 Blog Party: Day 1

Today’s the day we start the DOUBLE T-800 Blog Party! I’m telling you, Sharon and I have had so much fun putting this together. If I had more money, I’d do it every month!

Here’s what you should do to play with us:

FIRST, click here to enter my grand prize giveaway (TBA July 31st). NEXT, go and enter Sharon’s grand prize giveaway. THEN visit both of our blogs for daily prizes. (We'd also appreciate it if you'd follow us while you're visiting, but no one's forcing you. Ha, ha.)

Today’s prizes are in the form of clues. Please choose the question you’d like to answer (only one) and you’ll be entered into a random drawing for the prize that corresponds to the question:

1. MG Fantasy or YA Sci-fi?
2. Like life sweet or salty?
3. A picture or a word person?

Thanks for joining in on the fun! See you back here on Friday for the winner announcement and more off-the-wall questions/prizes!

As a side note, for those of you who know about my book trailer, I wanted to let you know I finally scrounged up enough courage to post it on YouTube. Here’s the link:

  1. Cool.

    Life sweet or salty?
Salty. Everyone likes sweet, right? I don't want to be everyone :)

  2. oooooh!!! I'm loving your and Sharon's madness!! LOL!

A picture or a word person?

A picture person - cos I seem to be able to create words out of visual stimulation better than the other way round!
    take care

  3. hi miss jackee! im answering the sweet salty question. im always for sweet! :) i watched the utube of your book and its soooo cool. the pics are real neat. i like adventure stuff so for sure i want to read your book.
    ...hugs from lenny

  4. intrigued...

    A picture or word person?

Picture person for's just easier for my brain. =)

  5. I hope everyone has fun playing! I won't enter because I can never keep track of these things. I'm always forgetting what contest I entered and then commenting about it on someone elses blog which is embarrassing and awkward and I end up never getting my prize. It's a shame, really.

  6. I did this wrong on Sharon's post, and answered all three questions!

Your questions are tough. I want to say "BOTH" to all three. Hmm...

    3. I'm a word person.

  7. Hmmm, I think I will say MG Fantasy rocks my socks!

  8. MG fantasy....but I'd read YA sci-fi as well! (I just don't think I could write it well.)

Actually, I have pretty much given up reading "grown-up" stuff. There is just so much good middle grade and YA out there!

  9. So much fun!

Those are hard choices for me! Hmmm... Probably YA SciFi - I'm writing a steampunk which is a form of sci-fi :)

  10. MG fantasy. That's what I write. Though I'm really intrigued by YA Sci Fi too (that's what I'm writing next!!). Can't wait to hear the details!

  11. Hmmmm. I'm going to say that I like life salty.

  12. MG Fantasy or YA Sci-Fi? Um, both? Okay, I guess I would choose MG Fantasy. I think...

  13. Woo hoo! I'm glad you posted on youtube! You are so brave. =)

  14. The trailer is awesome! Good work! Life sweet or salty? Definitely salty because sometimes sweet is just too much. You know, you can't get rid of the taste until you eat something salty. Of course than you end up bloated with water retention. Still, my answer is salty. A little something to rub you wrong the way makes life more interesting.

  15. 2. Like life sweet or salty? Sweet.

    Thanks for hosting this contest.

  16. Oh man, this contest is so cool! Love that you teamed up with Sharon.

    1. YA Sci-Fi (of course!)
    2. Sweet AND Salty. Love the combo. Although if I must choose, always sweet.
    3. Pictures. The words will come on their own.

  17. Just gotta say you and Sharon ROCK for doing this. How much fun!

I'm going to say I'm SWEET. I like sweet and salty together (dip a hot french fry in ice cream...don't make a face, just try it. Yummy, eh?) but if I have to choose (and according to the rules I DO) I'll pick SWEET every time.

  18. I am such a picture person. I see images in everything, even the pattern that is left by the written word. 'Course, then I hafta' write about it. But I am waaaaaaaay a picture person.
